Vanellope knew it was a bad idea, a REALLY BAD IDEA! But she had to make sure that Jamie was ok. Hearing the Dark Queen speak of him had filled her with a dread that seemed to only get worse. Had they done something to Jamie? Was he ok? Was he even still alive? All these questions ate away at Vanellope until she finally decided to teleport back to the prison just to make sure he was alright. In the chaotic aftermath of the Queen's attack, Vanellope managed to sneak away from the others. Ralph had come to make sure she and Jack were safe, but had left after that to find Violet and Helga. She had managed t evade Jack and had run off into the nearly deserted base camp. Once she had found a place out of sight, Vanellope closed her eyes and focused on Jamie. But instead of teleporting, it felt almost like she bounced back, like she had hit a barrier. Vanellope focused even harder. someone must have put up a shield to try and block her, but there had to be another way through. And after several moments of concentration, Vanellope found it. She prepared herself to teleport into the Twilight prison, placing her hand against her side and feeling the knife that she had been given there.

Vanellope opened her eyes in Jamie's cell, took one look at the young boy, and then threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly while she felt the immense sense of relief flow over her.
"Jamie! You're ok!" Vanellope said as she continued to hug him.

"Because the Dark Queen talked about you and was saying things to Jack and I thought she had done something horrible to you and Jack was trying to fight her and she didn't like me backtalking her and!" Vanellope continued to ramble as she held Jamie close. She had been so afraid of what she might have found here, and she couldn't stop herself from blathering to Jamie about it.

Vanellope frowned before holding Jamie at arms length.
"Has he been hurting you again? Because if he has, I'll hit him so hard over the head that he'll be having his own nightmares for a month!" Vanellope knew there was very little she could do to stop Pitch in his acts of cruelty, but she still felt like she had to try and protect Jamie.

Suddenly, Vanellope's look of anger turned to compassion.
"Well, I'm just glade that you're ok. I was really scared there for a moment."
Vanellope rubbed her arm and blushed slightly as she realized how strange her appearance here must seem to Jamie.
"Well, I guess I shouldn't have freaked out like I did............"
Vanellope was trying to think of something she could tell Jamie while she was here. Suddenly, she was inspired.
"Jamie, I have something for you." She pulled out the stuffed rabbit he had given her.
"I've been holding on to it ever since last time. And I've been keeping my promise to look after Jack too." She held the rabbit out to Jamie.
"I thought maybe you'd like your rabbit back, now that Jack knows I met you."

Vanellope just smiled as she continued to hug him closely. After a time she reluctantly pulled herself away, a light blush on her face.
"Jamie, I know I told you that I would find a way to get you out of here. Well, I think I've got a plan for how you and Heather can escape from here. It's not gonna be easy and it will put some people in danger, but I think it will really work."

Vanellope looked at Jamie for a moment and was touched by his concern for others.
"If all goes to plan, then no one should get hurt. But I gotta be honest with you, it could go wrong in a lot of ways. And it will only work if we can get your one guard friend to help us."

Vanellope nodded.
"Yes, Sokka. I still need to talk with him. That's one of the reasons I came back here. Can you tell me what kinds of shifts he works around here and when he's alone? That way, I can teleport directly to him and explain who I am and our plan. He'll have a lot information we need to time this right............."
Vanellope suddenly dropped her gaze from Jamie, not sure if she should tell him the other part of the plan or not. But he had a right to know.

"Jack will also be involved with this."
